Jeep’s Rock-Trac four-wheel drive system is the gold standard in hard-core off-road 4WD performance. Its NV241 OR transfer case is outstandingly durable and dependable, no matter what challenge you care to throw in front of it. In 4-Low, the front sway bar is automatically disengaged to give the wheels greater range of motion and provide superior traction over insane terrain. •    Gear & Crawl Ratios –
The 3.6-litre V-6 Pentastar engine in the Rubicon cranks out 209 kW of power and 347 Nm of torque. In 4-Low, it delivers a gear ratio of 4:1 and a crawl ratio of 73.1:1, so you’ll always have the power you need when you need it. Pull your boat and trailer easily out of the water and up the launch ramp, pull through any tough spot the trail presents, and crawl over the most challenging assortment of rocks. •    Tru-Lok & Brake Lock Differentials – Brake Lock Differentials (BLD) use the braking system to help equalise the turning speed of both wheels on each axle, which improves traction. The BLD on the Rubicon coordinates with the Tru-Lok locking differentials; when the Tru-Lock rear diff is engaged, the front BLD stays engaged. When both front and rear Tru-Locks are engaged for heavy-duty performance, BLD is automatically disengaged until Tru-Lock is disengaged again.
